Monthly Subscribers: Important Information for PayPal Customers

Hope your week is off to a great start! I’m writing this blog because I have some unfortunate news. We have to temporarily stop accepting PayPal as a payment option for our Monthly Subscription. You can read why below, but for those of you that like to cut straight to the chase. We’re asking that all PayPal users switch to our other Credit/Debit Card processor. You can do so by following these instructions:

  • Log into your account at Subscriptions.Onceuponatee.net.
  • Click on My Account from the Navigation Menu
  • Click “Change Payment Method” next to each of your Current Subscriptions
  • ???
  • Profit! And by that, I mean all future subscriptions will run seamlessly. I also ask that you send me a quick e-mail when you confirm the switch and we will make sure to reward you one way or another for your patience and your loyalty. ?

Now for those of you that like to hear reasons for things. PayPal has not upgraded their recurring orders system and it is causing an unfortunate amount of errors that are effecting our Monthly Subscriptions. We invested a lot of time and money trying to come up with an alternative option because the last thing that we want to do is inconvenience you, but sadly, we are out of options. We’ve tried working with PayPal for the last month and a half, but they refuse to make the necessary changes, so until they do, we need to move our payments off of their system.

I know that this is frustrating and again, we are doing everything we can to make sure that you are taken care of. We have a lot of plans for growing our current subscriptions, as well as adding a few more. But to get those in place, we needed to make a few changes to our set up. The first phase was bringing all of our Subscriptions together to this website. The second phase was to correct the errors that we were seeing in our system (which we found were caused by PayPal). The third phase is well on its way and we are very lucky to have you to be a part of it.
