Over the course of the last year, we have asked our community at least once a month what they want to see from us in the future. Requests consist of anything from the art we feature in our weekly collections, to the range of items that we offer, to the collections and fandoms that make it onto our website. Each time we ask, we write those requests down and talk about them here in our office.
Throughout 2015, we plan to implement quite a few of the major requests that we’ve received in the last year. We have a lot of big plans and our expansions are geared towards each and every one of you. I say that because because at the end of the day, our community is what makes us tick. It’s what keeps us going. We are a very small company and we strive on getting involved with our fans. We love getting involved because it gives us a chance to connect with people that are passionate about the same things that we’re passionate about. It’s truly an amazing feeling to get to talk to everyone that writes us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or our Help Desk.
With that said, I am very happy to announce that starting today, January 12th, we are merging our Companion Tees and Once Upon a Tee offices (as well as our websites). For now, we will be moving all of our current collections to Once Upon a Tee and we are slowly moving our Vault, as well as our subscriptions to our current website. In the meantime, you can still access your account history, as well as your subscriptions at http://www.companiontees.com.
This was an important first step for 2015 for us because we’ve had dozens of requests each week since we started Companion Tees in June for the sites to come together. People ask this because they want items from both websites each week, but do not want to pay separate shipping fees. By merging our offices (and our websites), our community will now be able to pick up items from our weekly collections at the same time.
What does this mean for the future of Once Upon a Tee and Companion Tees?
There are zero negative effects for this merger for our community. We will still feature our weekly Companion Tees collections and we will continue to feature our Once Upon a Tee collections. We have no plans to discontinue either website or their collections anytime soon. We will continue to maintain a separate community on Facebook for each website. We do this because we know that some of you can only take so much Who. 🙂
What about my Rewards Points from Companion Tees?
We plan on moving all Rewards Points to the new site upon request. Please create a new account on our current website and send us a message with your username on our old website, as well as our new website. Once we have that information, we will move your credit onto the new website. We will transfer any and all points for the next three months. After that, we will no longer have access to our old database.
If you have any questions or if we can help with anything, please do not hesitate to contact our Help Desk.
Have a great week, everyone and prepare for a wonderful 2015!
